  3.    Beware of scavenging pirates trying to steal your precious fuel cells! 
  4. The more pirates you destroy, the faster their successors become.  Guard your
  5. tanks carefully... you are always outnumbered!

  7. Controls
  8. --------
  9. Joystick:  Rotates your pirate-destroying ship.
  10. Button 1:  Left rotation.
  11. Button 2:  Right rotation.
  12. Button 3:  Thrust.
  13. Button 4:  Fire.

  15.    Two controllers are required for two player games.

  17. Game Selection
  18. --------------
  19.    You can select any of the 16 different game play options.  Each game play
  20. option determines the number of available fuel cells and which characters can
  21. wraparound the screen (e.g. leave on the left side of the screen and return
  22. on the right).  The game play options are as follows:

  48. Game Play
  49. ---------
  50.    Your pirate-destroying ship will appear on the right side of the screen. 
  51. In a two player game, a second pirate-destroying ship will appear on the left
  52. side of the screen.  Your fuel cells will be in the center.  You must guard
  53. your fuel cells from the pirates who will try to steal them.  The pirates can
  54. appear from anywhere on the screen.  Steer your ship with either the joystick
  55. or buttons 1 and 2, for left and right rotation.  Move your ship forward by
  56. pressing button 3.  Press button 4 to fire lasers at the pirates.  The
  57. pirates can be destroyed by colliding with them, but you will then have to
  58. wait for your new pirate-destroying ship to appear before you can fire more
  59. lasers.  The game is over when all the fuel cells are stolen.

  61. The Pirates
  62. -----------
  63.    There are six types of pirates.  Each new type is faster and smarter. 
  64. They can all steal fuel tanks and fire lasers at you.  In a one player game,
  65. two pirates of the first type will appear.  If you destroy them, two pirates
  66. of the second type will attempt to steal fuel cells, and so on.  After all
  67. six pirates types appear, two at a time, they will start appearing three at a
  68. time.  In a two player game, you start with six of each type of pirate,
  69. appearing three at a time.

  71. Getting Hit
  72. -----------
  73.    If you are hit by a pirate or collide with a pirate or the other ship (in
  74. two player game only), you will disappear.  After a brief delay, you will
  75. return from the side on which you first entered.

  77. Scoring
  78. -------
  79.    Points are awarded for destroying each pirate, as follows:

  81.                   Pirate 1  --  10 points
  82.                   Pirate 2  --  20 points
  83.                   Pirate 3  --  30 points
  84.                   Pirate 4  --  40 points
  85.                   Pirate 5  --  50 points
  86.                   Pirate 6  --  60 points

  88.    No points are awarded for destroying the other pirate-destroying ship (two
  89. player game).

  91. Bonus Points
  92. ------------
  93.    After destroying all six types of ships you go to the bonus levels.  When
  94. "Bonus + 10" appears on the screen, 10 additional points are earned for each
  95. pirate destroyed.  After destroying 6 more pirate groups "Bonus + 20" will
  96. appear.  The bonuses will continue to increase for each six pirate groups
  97. destroyed.
